Featherweights collide in April! The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welcomes a new star to the octagon as Tommy McMillen, a protégé of Sean O'Malley, makes his UFC debut against Manolo Zecchini at UFC Vegas 115 on April 4, 2025, inside the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. McMillen, a 28-year-old with an impressive 9-0 record, earned his UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series, where he showcased his grit and determination in a majority decision victory over David Mgoyan. This fight, however, took a toll on McMillen, who was immediately transported to the hospital, a rare occurrence for a fighter known for his ruthless efficiency. Prior to this, McMillen had an impeccable finish rate, stopping all eight of his previous opponents in the first round, training alongside the former UFC Bantamweight champion, O'Malley. Zecchini, on the other hand, returns to the cage after a nearly three-year layoff, following a first-round loss to Morgan Charriere at UFC Paris. Known as 'Angelo Veneziano', Zecchini is a formidable opponent with a 91% finish rate, including nine knockouts, eight of which came in the opening round. This matchup promises an explosive display of violence, with both fighters bringing their unique styles to the cage.
